Science Museum

My parents have memberships to the Children's Science Museum in Fort Worth.  The girls have always had fun there.  When we were staying with my parents last November, my parents wanted to take Mina with them one day.  She was really excited to go, but apparently had a little meltdown as they sat down to eat some lunch and they couldn't calm her down.  I guess she was just super tired because they left and on the way home she fell asleep and stayed asleep for a while.  It was kind of sad.  I know she would have had a great time.  This time we all piled into my van and headed over there along with Meagan and her kids.  We were worried upon arriving as we saw school bus after school bus parked and lined up.  We hoped that they were all leaving and not just arriving.  Thankfully, that was the case.  Hundreds and hundreds of kids filed out of the door to their buses to head back to school and we were left with a very uncrowded museum.  We all had a wonderful time.

This thing spins around.  You can't tell in the pictures, but that's what was going on.  They were all spinning.

Dalia put that cup in the wind tunnel to get it to fly.

This room had a lot of light activities including this giant Light Bright which fascinated these three for quite some time.

Mina made sure to check everything out.

One of their favorite parts of this museum is the little grocery store.  Sometimes it's frustrating because all the carts will be taken and the kids end up waiting forever for a turn, but it's always worth the wait.

Hazel and Dalia really loved the splash area.  They ended up almost completely soaked, but it was fun to watch them play.

This was the best attempt at getting a picture of the four of them together.

Mina and William really loved the dino dig.  They had a lot of fun digging for dinosaur bones.  Dalia just wanted to throw the sand and yell, "surprise!"  Of course.

The little ones ran back to the area with the grocery store.  I think it was getting close to closing time so there was hardly anyone there anymore.

To get the kids to exit the museum we had to tell them we were going to go see the water outside.  Luckily, none of them tried running into the fountain.
