These blog posts are my favorites to do. I love sitting down and reflecting on my children's lives. I love seeing how much they've grown. It makes me a little sad, though, too. The time is slipping by. I can't believe Mina has been in our lives for 5 years now. 5 years! What a wonderful little child she is, too. I love watching her grow and learn. She started preschool at the beginning of this year and LOVES it. She has never complained about going and will even get a little sad when it's the weekend or there's no school. She's learned so much.
Mina loves to learn. She loves to sing, dance, jump on the trampoline, ride her bike, play with her friends and to help in the kitchen. She's a wonderful older sister, especially to Rory. I love being able to trust her to watch him when I need to get something done. She and Dalia have so much fun together. Now, they have their moments where they get on each other's last nerves, but when they are playing well, it's the sweetest thing. Mina is so goofy and she still really likes to make others laugh. She's being brave about trying new foods lately which has been such a blessing at meal time. She loves to be outside and she just loves making new friends. She climbs in bed with us every morning when she wakes up and usually falls back to sleep. Dalia has started sharing a room with her which means Dalia has started joining us in bed in the mornings, too. It's fun to start every day off with the whole family squished together on one bed. Mina loves My Little Ponies, Eliot Kid and Frozen. She has almost all the songs from that movie memorized and loves to sing them all day long.
Mina is so much fun and we just love her so much. It's hard to believe she's already 5, but she can't wait to be 6. Haha.
