Princess and Daddy Time

Mina and Teresa really like to dress up as princesses so one day when I was was watching the Milligan girls I put my sparkly shirts on them and let them make some crowns with lots of jewels.  They had so much fun dressing up in these shirts.  Dalia and Nora had some fun of their own eating macaroni and cheese on the ground.

Dru and Mina love to play together.  I'm amazed at how daring and brave Mina is.  He throws her ridiculously high in the air sometimes and this particular time she stood on his hands, lifted her up and she would fall back to the couch.  Dru sure is a fun dad.

Easter and Mother's Day

We spent Easter with our good friends, the Chappells and the Milligans.  We had a big lunch before church. There was a lot of delicious food to be had.  Mmm.  We also set up a little Easter egg hunt in the backyard for the kids.  It was so fun to watch the kids hunt.  The kids also played a little T-ball.  That morning, though, Dru and I did a little activity with Mina.  We made Resurrection rolls.  We had some crescent roll dough that we filled with a big marshmallow that was rolled in butter and cinnamon sugar.  The roll represented Christ's tomb and the marshmallow was Christ.  As they baked the marshmallow melted, so when we cut into one when they were done, there was an empty tomb.  I'm kind of sad I didn't take any pictures of that.

Mother's Day was this month, too.  I rarely have pictures with me and the girls, so before church I had Dru some a few shots of us.  I love my girls.
