Fort Worth Zoo

We went to the Fort Worth Zoo with the Budges, Whitlee, Jasmine, Alayne, Aaron, Dru's dad and my mom.  It was so much fun.  Dru and I talked afterward about how this was the best zoo trip we have ever been on. The zoo was almost all shaded.  It was perfect.  We picked a not very hot day to go, too.  The animals were all so lively and the kids loved it.  It was probably the highlight of our trip to Texas this summer.

This was our favorite part about the zoo.  It's this huge caged area full of these birds.  You can buy little sticks with bird seed on them and feed the birds.  I knew Dalia would love it because she loves birds so much, but she probably had the best time of her life in there.  She was so excited the entire time.  She chased the birds, she fed them, she tried to catch them and then she found a water mister and took a little break playing in the water.  She was completely drenched before long, but the look of pure joy on her face was so worth it.

 This white tiger was really cool, too.  He kept charging at Meagan and scratching the heck out of the glass.  It was cool and freaky at the same time.  We all wondered what he was thinking.
