Heading to our new home and Marina's visit

December 5 the girls, Marina and I boarded a plane to head to our new home in California.  We hadn't seen Dru since the end of September and we all missed him so much.  I was beyond grateful that Marina was able to tag along and help me out.  She made the trip so much less stressful.  We got in really late.  Mina was wonderful on both legs of the flight.  She actually slept most of the time.  Dalia was a tad crazy at times, but overall she did very well.  She finally fell asleep towards the end.  We arrived at our house even later as it was a little over an hour drive from the airport.  We were all so excited to see the house, though it was full of boxes and a big mess.  We settled down and headed to bed.  The next day Dru had to go to work and Marina helped me unpack and set up the kitchen.  Then we headed to the grocery store to stock up the house.  I took Marina and the girls to Compagno's for lunch and we ate our sandwiches on the beach.  It was really cold and windy so we didn't stay too long.  The next couple of days we relaxed and explored a bit.  We headed up to San Francisco to Muir Woods to see some Redwood trees, went to the Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz and to the Aquarium.  We had a lot of fun in the short time Marina was here.
