Marina was so kind to fly back to Texas with the girls and me. Seriously, she made the trip so much less stressful. Since she was going to be in Maryland with us for just a couple of days we wanted to do something really fun. I've been wanting to go to Hoboken, New Jersey ever since we moved here to visit Carlo's Bakery, so that's what we did. We bought so many delicious treats and Marina and I got shirts, too. It was definitely worth the drive up and back. We also caught a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty and got to see the New York skyline. It's always an adventure when Marina is here.
We got to go to our neighborhood pool a few times. I'm sad we didn't go more than we did, but we were gone for so much of the summer. We also went to a really cute and fun splash park with the Milligans. It was about an hour away, so it will probably be just a one time thing because it was also a lot smaller than we thought it was going to be. The girls had so much fun, though.
Here are a few random moments of the month. I made my first article of clothing (other than the boxers I made in home-ec in junior high). Dalia had too much fun in the bathroom and then she is just cute.
